French Pop Music to be given a “place de choix” on a new London Radio

French Radio London will be officially launched on the 17th November with with an 80 per cent French music quota. It will be “aimed primarily at London’s 400,000 native French speakers” as well as the large number of British Francophiles in the Bristish capital city.

The station will be a great tool to students of French, many of whom will find information on French culture on their doorsteps. For the many Londoners who visit France each year, London French Radio London will give them a chance to brush up on their linguistic skills and increase their cultural knowledge.

Many of them were torn every morning between listening to British radio ( and get the weather forecasts for Oxford Street) and  listening to their favourite  French radio ( and get this other point of view on current affairs). Now they will be able to indulge in their love of everything French without risking to get the wrong attire for the ever changing London weather.

FRL will be broadcasted on digital radio London and  will also be available online and on Smartphone apps.
